I’d probably have bought this from Amazon, but I’ve just picked this up from my local Comet store for ?499. Bargain! Having read many reviews I went off to do some field research & came to the conclusion that the Panasonic TH-37PX80B was the best way to go. You get excellent value for money at this price.

I just wanted a decent widescreen with Freeview. I’m not interested in satellite subscriptions or HD stuff…..just yet. I’ll be looking to upgrade my DVD player some time this year, but in no hurry.

Just got this home, out of the box, plugged it in & good to go within 5 minutes. It tuned itself into all the freeview stations (inc. BBC4 which I could never get before!) and i’m shocked at the quality. Very good indeed! Natural colours with good detail. To be honest, the LCD TVs have always struck me as being too harsh, but this is just *sweet* It’s very straightforward to use & plenty of options to adjust picture, sound etc..i’m currently experimenting with ‘eco’ setting which adjusts the picture based on the ambient light in the room, it’s working a treat.

The only beef anyone might have with this is probably the sound, though treble & bass can be adjusted. It’s definitely good enough for me, but audiophiles might appreciate something with a bit more depth. However, I doubt other TVs in this price range fare any better.

Purchased this from Amazon two months ago and absolutely delighted with it so far. Although not offering a five year guarantee like some competitors ?575 seemed an excellent deal. Great delivery, took a few days but good communication.

When I unpacked it looked bigger than expected so I was glad I didn’t go for 42 inch as our viewing distance is about 10 feet- anything bigger in our room would not be great.

We don’t have HD but all Sky normal and nuilt in freeview bring good pictures. The Euro Championship football provided a test and ITV Freeview was the poorest for motion blur. There is a little but it is not chronic like some Plasmas and LCDs I have seen. Slightly distracting initially but I’d imagine HD TV would sort this when we get round to purchasing it!

Cricket looks fantastic and Sony PS3 upscaling DVDs is superb. Needless to say game play from PS3 with a bog standard ?6 HD cable is fantastic.

I am happy enough with sound quality- its not immense but it is good enough for me.

I see a TV purchase like this to be good for 5-7 years, and without being a techy nerd, industry obsessed-type I am sure this set will fulfil that purpose and some…

With the change in technology and the increasing demands of customers, wherein the components used constantly change. With the new age of mechanical products are always in the market, there are also new types of cables and components, introduced to support these devices.

The new definition cables allow the digital connection over a single cable. With this you can have a cable from the Clear video and audio quality. This High-Definition MultimediaInterface is the result of the merger of big names in the technology industry and put in their efforts to come to with newer components, the new technology less complicated and user friendly.

Some of the newer cables and components are used for new technologies listed below:

* Decora style wall plate: It is a kind, that has two high-definition jacks, and connect with this can be done at right angles. Another of the same type has a base with aright angle connection.

* Female to Male Adapter: With this you can convert a DVI-D connector into an HDMI connector.

* HDMI Extender: This component, which the HDTV display can from so far away from structure of HD source. The video and audio qualities are so obvious as it would be near the source.

* Distribution Amp: With this component, an HDTV set, the display can be divided into four high-definition display systems.

* Cable: There are several lines with differentLengths. There are some with copper-UL for DVD, satellite receiver, etc. These are all packed in PVC jacket making it easier to use for you and keeps the cables protected.

Going first to the Google gadgets is not the right approach. It is equally important to focus on the technology to the newer connector and component, so it will be easier for lay use.

There are many sources that can give much information about the new products in the technologyMarket. Internet is one of the largest sources. It is a smart idea to spend some time on the Internet before making something new for your home or office for sale. I would recommend that some blogs, or online shops to visit. It can help you a lot in the best possible choice.

This is a review of the 42″ Panasonic Viera TC-P42X1 Plasma TV. It’s an awesome 720p display and has ZERO visual lag. The display’s built-in speakers have audio lad, but connecting A/V equipment to external speakers eliminates this problem. So this display is perfect for music games such as beatmaniaIIDX, DanceDanceRevolution, etc. I play two IIDX songs to demonstrate. The timing has not been adjusted at all in the game. Yes, my voice is deep, but it’s not THAT deep. Cheap camera microphones …

Amazing Value and Quality-Panasonic TH-37PX80B – 37″ Widescreen HD Ready Plasma TV

Like many others I did my research, read the reviews, agonised over my decision, but, ultimately took the plunge and placed my order. To say that I am delighted would be an understatement – this product just has to be the ‘Bargain of the Century’ thanks to a combination of Panasonic build quality and the fantastic price/service achieved by Amazon.

The Plasma/LCD arguement will run forever, but, simply put, it is nothing more than a matter of economics. Forget all the rubbish about 1080P, HD, etc etc (how many HD broadcasts are there – and how many will there be by 2011- answer, almost none – well, okay, perhaps five or six). It is of course true that LCD panels are much easier to produce economically, however, it is a fact that Plasma panels are so much better in terms of picture quality and ‘involvement’. As for so called HD ready/true etc etc, lets just say that the marketeers are having a ball

Without doubt the Pioneer Kuro range of Plasma screens are the ultimate in viewing pleasure, however, if, like me, these are both out of your reach, and too big, then the Panasonic is an exceptional compromise. This is quite simply a brilliant combination of quality and value – Panasonic performance (and dont forget, they now produce all Pioneer Plasma products) and Amazon price and service (ordered on the 1st, delivered on the 3rd).

Quite simply, if you want quality viewing pleasure, ease of use, fabulous understated looks and a great TV – look no further, this is it – in spades !!!!

HDTV is up!!!!!

Yes people my HDTV is up and this is just showing you how it is. Reviews, and howtos are coming up. cctechnology@me.com

Bought this TV after reading all of the very positive reviews on Amazon. It is quite amazing! I have seen plenty of LCD TVs that my friends own, and this one is so far better is is untrue! I have seen a very expensive Sony 37″ TV which did not compare in picture quality to the Panasonic plasma. I was always proud of how well my Sony CRT performed in comparison to all the LCD TVs I had seen, I was worried that any flat screen TV would be as good. This one is easily as good as any CRT. I have a Virgin Media v+ box, and most importantly, it works really well with the standard broadcasts. I have set it up on the HDMI connection and it works brilliantly. On the BBC HD channel it is great and I am amazed at how good this looks, but more importantly, it works really well on the SD broadcasts. HD does look better, but so do the SD channels. I cannot recommend this TV enough! I was recommended an Onkyo upsacalling DVD player, and the output from this on normal DVDs is incredible. Overall, cannot fault it or recommend it enough, it makes LCD TVs look very poor in comparrison!
