I purchased this T.V. to replace my 42″ plasma. I was a little concerned about the size at first. However, as it has built in speakers the unit was virtually the same size, it is also considerably lighter.
I currently do not receive H.D. broadcasts but the improvement in picture quality was astounding.
Overall, a fantastic T.V. for a fantastic price.

Absolutely delighted- Panasonic TX-P37X10B 37-inch Widescreen HD Ready Plasma TV

For stunning picture quality a plasma TV is the natural choice. Panasonic VIERA plasma TVs are renowned for their outstanding picture performance especially in regards to sporting events, action movies and gaming content.

Best motion picture reproduction

Watching TV is about moving images rather than still images. A still image in high resolution looks brilliant on almost any HD TV, but when the images are moving, you can see a clear quality difference as many TVs have difficulties to display fast moving contents without motion blur.
All Panasonic plasma TVs are equipped with 100Hz technology. This superb technology doubles the output frame rate, meaning the gaps of time between image frames are lessened. The more frames inserted, the smoother the overall imaging will be for the human eye. The 100Hz technology is a major benefit to you as it aids in creating flicker-less moving images.

We couldn’t be more delighted with this TV. The TV was delivered 2 working days after it was ordered. The picture is excellent quality and it tuned itself so we are glad that we didn’t listen to a high street retailer who told us that the advantage of buying off the high street is that they will deliver and tune it for you.

A TV thats best of the best.-Panasonic TH-37PX80B – 37″ Widescreen HD Ready Plasma TV

With its 2008 Panasonic Viera Plasmas, Panasonic brings an astonishing 1,000,000:1 contrast ration to the table. advanced pixel resolution and image-processing technology with the plasma TV’s natural ability to beautifully reproduce fast moving images, so every detail is rendered with amazing clarity, and all the action is delivered with a high degree of fluidity.

What is a Plasma TV? A plasma TV is a thin, high-resolution flat panel screen that uses a matrix of tiny cells that are charged by precise electrical voltages to create a picture. Plasma displays are bright, have a wide colour range, produce deep, true blacks, have a wide viewing angle, and are light enough to be wall-mounted or placed on a stand. Plasmas come in a range of sizes.

The panasonic TH-37PX80B – 37″ screen is everything the manufacturers boast in their literature. Picture is crystal clear, sharp and sound reproduction is excellant (speakers are at the front not hidden away at the sides or underneath) Its also a good looking piece of furniture how can anybody be disappointed with this purchase and at a very compeditive price from Amazon.

A qualified triumph- Panasonic TX-P42G10B 42-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p Plasma TV

Full-HD NeoPDP Models with built-in freesat, Superb Moving Picture Quality and Advanced Networking Capabilities
The new Panasonic G10 Plasma range offers high-image-quality functions that will appeal to movie fans and gamers alike, along with a host of networking functions that will enhance the experience.
The High Definition G10 range with freesat built-in is a convenient and easy way to view over 140 digital TV and radio channels including brilliant HD programmes from the BBC and ITV – all for free. Freesat offers subscription-free HD services, gives you super fast digital text, as well as digital subtitles and audio description and as the freesat service is satellite based, further capacity for the expansion of HD services can be assured

I initially wanted to buy its big brother – the V10 – because of its apparently svelte looks when compared to the G10′s sombre facade. However when I finally got to see the two machines side-by-side at John Lewis there was no contest. The G10 suddenly appeared handsome, purposeful and solid.

With regard to the picture however it was love at first sight. Panasonic’s extravagant claims have all been borne out. Motion clarity is excellent. Almost judder-free when panning, fast-moving objects always remain razor sharp. The contrast and colour range, as noted elsewhere, are not only stunning but also realistic.

It is worth noting that Panasonic do not make any similarly wild boasts about this unit’s audio capabilities – which is just as well because the in-built speakers are a huge disappointment. Voices and treble sounds are crisp and clear, but feed it anything with significant mid-range or bass and the experience is truly underwhelming. My patience with the supplied speakers lasted all of a week before I upgraded to a magical Pioneer LX 03 surround sound system (somehow it didn’t seem right to buy Panasonic). I now have perfect audio-visual harmony.

Given the wonderful screen, extraordinary value (especially on Amazon!!) and the lack of pretence from Panasonic regarding the audio performance I have no hesitation in awarding 5 stars and recommending this product heartily.

A great Plasma for the money -Panasonic TH-37PX8BA 37″ Widescreen Plasma TV

HD Models with Superb Image Quality and Advanced Networking Capabilities (2 HDMI terminals)
Every image is expressive from bright scenes, such as scorching desert landscapes, to dark cave scenes. Contrast is enhanced by the new Real Black Drive system (a pre-discharge control system) and a higher base luminance from improvements made to the panel production process. The high contrast creates deep, robust blacks and reproduces scenes with a delicate balance of light and shadow.

You can enjoy beautiful cinematic reproduction of movie images. The images that are recorded onto movie film at 24 frames per second (fps) are reproduced at two times that speed by 24p Playback. This achieves film-like reproduction than with the 2:3 processing method.

3,072 Equivalent Steps of Gradation lends natural expression to images such as sunsets. VIERA’s large colour space covers 110% of the HDTV colour standard. This wide gamut has been achieved by an advanced panel structure and a newly developed filter, which produce richer, more vivid colouring.
In addition to brilliant picture quality, VIERA models offer the easy operation made possible by VIERA Link. This feature lets you operate other connected Panasonic AV components using only the VIERA TV’s remote control unit.

bought this plasma last week (08/01/09) it was delivered before 1pm the day after which was super quick. It arrived unmarked and the box and it’s contents were all in perfect condition.

Now to the TV. This page advertising or “selling” this TV do not do it justice what so ever. It is a great TV, providing a fantastic quality picture. As for HD, it displays my Xbox 360 Elite at 720p amazingly. It is also so easy to set-up, only needing a couple of screws (provided in the box) to attach it to the stand and plug it in.

When i bought it i was worried that I would regret not buying a 40 or 42″ but i am not disappointed what so ever. I am glad i bought this higher quality 37″ within my budget than going for a cheaper 40/42″.

You will not be disappointed, one happy Panasonic customer here.

Update 1 Aug
Still extremely happy with tv. Have now enjoyed the set hooked up to PS3 and Xbox 360. Excellent for games and Blu ray movies. For anyone in Ireland the set has not been able to tune in the MPEG4 digital terresterial stations. Tuned in digital terresterial radio stations but no tv.

HDTV is a must for all fans of sport. HDTV is the way in which alone can not drive, park, pay the entry and you can create your own drink! HDTV-Sport has revolutionized television. ESPN is a leader in trend-Sport HDTV transmission. 30th March 2003 marks the first television broadcast of Major League Baseball between the Anaheim Angels and Texas Rangers. ESPN as a world leader in sports, has its network to a global leader in the delivery of HDTV programming. Currently, ESPN is the leader in HDTV production events, which, along with baseball, hockey, soccer, and its current programming, like sports and fitness series winning century.

The three reasons why sports fans are the transition to HDTV are:

The image quality and resolution is important that sports fans will be HDTV. HDTV makes you feel as if you are in line of 50 meters and 15 lines. You can use every inch of land and the images are sharp and clear, but I swear they are real. With the technology of image, the entire screen is filled from top to bottom, to feel like you in one of the film. Better adapted to the movement of sport, HDTV, you can report on 90 mph fast ball and precisely where he sailed on the disc. You can clearly see the hundreds of more mph slap images of the world of hockey, and every inch of the field in the Settings list to return to fishing and touch-down monitoring. You can also zero on the shoes of players and see the mud between the galleries of a pitcher. The image view of an HDTV set to five times more detailed than the traditional analog televisions. It makes you think that you are completely clean rectangular picture window with large screens such as cinema. The colors are rich and text is easier to read. They see the difference between an HDTV set College basketball and one for analogue television. There is no comparison. Not “spirits” or “snow” is an HDTV broadcast. You see, intact clear, strong, colorful, fits into a scene of the nature of the problem. This brings us to our second Top-Sports-core fan of the transition to HDTV.

The sound quality is much like the image. Do not forget to change tapes on discs? The white noise is far, and now we have our music on CD audio clear. It ‘the same for HDTV. Many programs also contain six-channel surround sound, so you can immerse yourself in this experience. Each game is to get the quality that surround his film with the sounds of the game Listen to the slap of shoes basketball court, basketball sWISH, as the veil on the network or all of its rear part by a rebound shot Dunk. The sounds of the fans in the stadium Arena, or you feel you are good. Crisp sound and better as each game loads super to watch. They are there in the crowd, the tension of each performance to meet.

What is the third reason, sports fans at the top are switching to HDTV? Because they want the best TV sports has to offer. When a man of sport my HDTV? Just before the Super Bowl, like millions of fans across the country. Digital-TV service was in the United States in November 1998. Today, in 2005, digital television receivers are for the sale of the old analog version. The Consumer Electronics Associates believe that in 2006, HDTV, the number, the amount of analog TV, which in this country. The clarity and depth of images, according to one of the fans of the sport is based on the two larger only someone would have their favorite sport on HDTV programs. According to many sports fans, you can reach, in a three-dimensional. Do not think that is extracted from the game and

Suprised at how good it is-Philips 42PFP5532D – 42″ Widescreen HD Ready Plasma TV

I have this TV few days ago, not in the Amazon region, I was looking for a good plasma. I thought that was for less? 400. The image is sharp and clear. She sits comfortably in a corner of the room was, in my old TV. Beware, if you want to hang on the wall, it is very difficult!

The sound is perfect for a TV, but sometimes I find a good message. I used only the standard DVD player and Sky. Great photos. Scene in my Xbox 360 and 480p, shows very clearly, and to play a DVD of Star Wars-540P displayed.

I am pleased to have the purchase of this set, the trip should not be Full HD, but I could not really make a difference.

It is worth the price

I have this TV a couple of weeks ago, and I am still surprised at the quality of the image of class and everything that surrounds them. Have Sky HD and watch sport on the screen and he is my husband’s Anfield days in court.

I went to this series, because it is a model at a reasonable price a good producer and I think it is one of the smarter purchasing decisions, which I have for a long time.

I done a good bit of research before I chose this TV, and I am glad I did, as this TV is just brilliant.

Setting the TV up was a piece of cake, it was near enough just plug and play. All I had to do was a little tweaking with the settings to get the picture just the way I wanted. My Xbox 360 graphics look Superb on this TV, so the HD on the TV is excellent.

Found a dead pixel the other day, but only because I was really close to my TV at the time, when watching the TV you never even notice it, so it doesn’t even bother me.

So this TV is a excellent purchase and real value for money.

After much research into LCD v PLASMA I opted for the PLASMA. I wanted 37″ over 32″ and this PLASMA fits the spec perfectly. Screen quality with SD pictures is excellent. I have my trusty Denon HD DVD player hooked up and through HDMI (I am upscaling my SD DVD’s to 720p via the HDMI)the picture quality is very sharp. I don’t own a Blue Ray DVD player and I’m not ready to replace my Denon HD DVD player and all my SD DVD’s just yet! If you have a Blue Ray player then LCD screen maybe the way to go but this TV displays fantastic images with a normal SD input and the DVD quality is awsome!!

Freeview quality is excellent too. Easy setup as you would expect from Panasonic.

Excellent value for money. Also, you can get a 37″ stand on Amazon for around ?50 compared to over a ?100 from other outlets.
